Without
any press the HIDDEN CHARMS scored a lot of fans with their debut 45
Right Now (OOP) on MY RUIN/ KLEINGELD in late 2004 as one
of the rawest new bands already seen as the german counterpart of the
REAL LOSERS. Those guys have been part of the gang anyway but now we´re
forced to welcome them also with their musical output, we´re gladly
paid the dues and release now their timeless first album on your favourite
basement label. This three piece is Duniel on bass, Börge on drums
(also DEAN DIRG) and guitarist and notorious snotty singer is Holger
D.

In his early teens
he was the king of budget trash - compiling & distributing against
any trend killer punkrock tapes, later running the now due total indigence
defunct WILD WEEKEND label. They got no job - cleaned up red light clubs
here, being the faster fired than hired mailman there or filed in for
table rock tournaments with teentrash classics on friday nights. Soon
washing car windows in your town! No doubt, these guys are full time professionals
who got thrown out of the bar to form a band and kick the shit really
bad. On a mission to annoy all myspace friends who never been there when
drinks were needed. On the edge to hardcore it´s as the SPITS try
to disolve The Square Root of Love into the hardly missed
METROS agitation factor and overall unreached brilliancy, join into the
TOKYO ELECTRONS dead end number range to finally fool us with a CLONE
DEFECTS artyness formula for losers. Why namedrop classic punk bands when
there are new ones doing better selling less? The square root vestiges
are pressed on 45rpm cluster bomb we proud to approved for world destruction,
ipods included. Razorcut home recording with well dosed but braincracking
keyboards with no time for any defense action 12 out 14 songs clock
in around 1:40. The no-genre sleeve and label design is by diy art addict
Duniel. The first pressing is on heavy vinyl and there also will be extravagant
handmade inner sleeves. Right for the release date early May 2006, the
HIDDEN CHARMS are doing a ten day blitzkrieg Germany tour and record release
party in their hometown Münster, partly with mind likes - the SHOCKS
and the REGULATIONS. If they´re not permanently spraypainted - go
scratch HIDDEN CHARMS ultra limited gig posters off the walls and sell
them to a art student in a nearest hip gallery and spend the `Charms a
round of shots. LP is available on lim. 100 edition in clear pink vinyl
for mail orders and live gigs only. Go destroy, buddies!
